Bob’s Red Mill is proud to be the go-to solution for special diets, whether by choice or necessity. Here’s a quick primer of the dietary symbols you’ll find on our packaging!

GLUTEN FREE Products with the red gluten free logo are tested and confirmed gluten free per our strict gluten free protocols in our separate 58,200 square foot gluten free facility. To assure the integrity of our gluten free products, we batch test in our quality control laboratory using an ELISA Gluten Assay test. As of 2019, we also offer some products that are certified gluten free by the Gluten-Free Certification Organization, a branch of the Gluten Intolerance Group. You can identify these select products by the GFCO logo on the product packages. GRAIN FREE We offer products created without the use of grains, including wheat, rice, corn, oats, barley, rye, millet, sorghum and spelt. Look for this logo to find items that align with a grain free diet. ORGANIC PRODUCTS All our products bearing the USDA Organic seal have been grown and produced using a uniform set of methods established by the United States Department of Agriculture’s National Organic Program (NOP), which includes annual on-site inspections by third-party inspectors. All products using the seal have been third-party certified by QAI (Quality Assurance International). You will see the organic symbol, s hown above, throughout our catalog. NON-GMO PROJECT VERIFIED Bob’s Red Mill is committed to sourcing non-GMO ingredients. More than 200 of our products are Non-GMO Project Verified. PALEO We offer many wholesome ingredients that are favored by people who follow a paleo, primal or other grain-free diet, including nut flours, starches and seeds. VEGAN All Bob’s Red Mill products are vegetarian. Products with this symbol are also vegan, meaning they do not include eggs, dairy or honey. KOSHER As a continued commitment to the quality of the products we make and sell, all of Bob’s Red Mill products are certified kosher by OK Kosher Certification and KOF-K Kosher Certification. WHOLE GRAIN STAMP It’s easy to identify and rate the whole grain products you find on your grocery shelf. Just look for the recognizable yellow and black “Whole Grain Stamp,” a packaging symbol developed by the Whole Grains Council. When you see it, you can be sure that each portion contains at least one of the three servings of whole grains that the USDA recommends we eat each day.
