Box up Some Holiday Treats Fragile, highly decorated, or sugar-covered cookies like our Holiday Tea Cookies should be wrapped with care in a sturdy box. Here’s how to do it: Instructions 1. Line a cardboard gift box with parchment paper. 2. Top with a layer of cookies. (Pro Tip: if you’re worried about your goodies sliding around during transport, place them in mini or regular paper cupcake wrappers, depending on the size of your treats.) 3. Cover with another layer of parchment paper. Continue stacking if you wish, layering with parchment paper, but we recommend no more than two layers of treats. 4. Close the box securely and tie with twine or ribbon, sliding on a gift tag. 5. Make it merry: take a walk outside and let nature be your decorator! Things like pinecones, rosemary and camellia leaves or other year-round greenery are a wonderful way to personalize your gifts. 6. Bring treats and good tidings to your next holiday party—or next-door neighbor!

Let cool in pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a rack to finish cooling. 7. Make the glaze: sift powdered sugar into a bowl, then add 1–2 tablespoons fresh squeezed juice and whisk until smooth. Drizzle over the cake after it cools.
